I loved everything! Mona and her family were very helpful and accommodating! Because of my early morning flight, I had to check out at 3AM but before leaving the Riad they prepared a very exquisite breakfast. Very recommended!

Absolutely charming and warm family, great location and value

Mouna's exceptional cooking -- we took all our meals at the riad and we felt like family. They are a warm and welcoming, charming family. They often went out of their way to help us, with taxis, hammams, prices to pay for common goods, all kinds of advice, above and beyond. Mouna also told us about her grandfather when I had bought an antique bag, similar to the one that he had used. The riad is picturesque and quiet, everything was clean as well, good temperature, and generally comfortable. I'd say that as far as living in the Medina, in a big Moroccan city, the location was actually pretty easy to find and we didn't get lost like we did in Fez. It felt like a safe area. One thing to note is that Mouna and her family mentioned that they may start an eco-tourism-restaurant/riad outside of Marrakesh in the near future, so if you are interested in good food and warm hospitality, I would try to find that.

The only thing that was a little bit of an issue, which again, at the price point, wasn't unexpected -- my mom did start to have some issues with her back due to the mattress. I could sleep just fine, but I do think if you are a sensitive sleeper, you should think about this. Note about Marrakesh in general -- it does tend to be a touristy, dusty, polluted city with lots of motorcycles in the medina, and prices can sometimes meet and even exceed Western prices, which could be seen as "people ripping you off" -- you should keep this in mind. Morocco as a whole is full of wonderful and kind people, but in Marrakesh, you should be ready to be a bit tougher. It is still a very safe place though, as is the rest of Morrocco that we experienced.

Structure managed by a discreet but very welcoming family. You will feel like home. Availability at any time of the day or night for info, offer you tea, chat or book you a taxi. Excellent breakfast. Typical and essential room. Very convenient price. Highly recommended.

Great Riad

Very friendly and helpful hosts who picked us up from our Taxi drop-off and were extremely helpful during our stay. The Riad is super beautiful and quiet. The quality is amazing for the price. Nice bathrooms were included in our rooms. I would recommend this Riad definitely!

There is no scale to describe how much we enjoyed staying at dar moughita. The place is really beautiful, the owners are amazing people. You don't feel like a guest there but a member of the family. The breakfasts were delicious and the orange juice was the best in all Morocco. the tours we bought at the riad were super organized. Everything was perfect. Thank you so much for everything!

We will definitely go back to this lovely little Dar . Our 6night stay was amazing

Our hosts were amazing , they went out of their way to make our stay as good as possible. Breakfast was great , we had a great evening meal on the evening we arrived for only 7 euros each . Our room was large . The Dar was only a few mins walk from the souk and a few minutes more to the main square . Lots of shopping and restaurants close by . There is a local street within 2 mins walk . Don’t be afraid to go there eat , buy spices and sweets which are all incredibly inexpensive and delicious. We ate there at 4 times . There is a lovely rooftop terrace to sit and relax after a chaotic day in the medina.

The whole medina has struggled having been closed down during covid . The people are doing their very best to get it back to normal but it’s going to take time and money . Plaster and paint are peeling off the walls so don’t expect perfection but the hosts , the location and the price more than make up for little problems.

EXCEPTIONAL DAR WITH EXCEPTIONAL HOSTS :)

First of all, the hosts were amazingly nice to us, very close and helpful. Being there was like being at home. A small calmed oasis in the middle of Medina. Also, in our case, we got the situation that my partner got slightly ill from the stomach the last day and they were helping us a lot, letting us stay a bit more without having to pay extra. They were supporting us, willig to help and make this situation as easy as posisble. They were really exceptional hosts and we feel very thankful for their way to deal with the situation! :) This familiar athmosphere made easier to create a social environment to get to know other hosts if wanted, so I feel it was an unique place. Finally I would like to highlight that Mouna (the host) is a very funny person, so you can also have nice conversations with her. THANK YOUU!!

Superb

Mouna was a lovely host, someone you could easily spend hours to talk to. The place is a home so you get to see how Riad ought to be used by locals compared to when it is all prepped for pure commerical purpose. Location is good!

The mattress of the bed could use some changing already :)

Very good

The woman at the reception greeted me very well. She is her husband and children are very funny and kind. I was the first person from Tajikistan in this place! The lady prepared breakfast for me at 6am as I had to leave early and it was very nice! I wish this family all the best in their business!

The price is very suitable for the convenience! I liked everything, and most importantly, a polite attitude!

Super hospitable family riad

Very warm welcome by the hosts and perfect hospitality during our whole stay at this beautiful, cozy family riad. The breakfast was delicious and once again we are thankful for getting it even at 4 am before our early flight home. Very good value for money, we would recommend the riad warm-hearted.
